How the hybrid week works
Suffix works a hybrid week. For most people that means Monday and Thursday in the office plus one more onsite day each week (Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday), which rotates from week to week so the office is never too full or too empty.
Some roles follow their own pattern: Software is in on Thursdays only, interns on the last Thursday of the month, and Procurement every working day. Your shift page always shows the pattern that applies to you.
Within a department, people get different hybrid days so someone from each department is in on every day, and nobody has the same day two weeks running when it can be avoided.
HR plans each month in advance. A week belongs to the month its Wednesday falls in, so a month has four or five weeks, and a week can start or end in the next month.
